Adult Befriending

Keep In Touch

SCODP began to provide the Keep In Touch Befriending service near the start of the Covid 19 Pandemic in March 2020. As it has proved extremely popular, we are now providing our Keep In Touch service on an ongoing basis.

Many of the staff and volunteers at SCODP are disabled people. We know from experience that being isolated, due to the virus or other reasons, can make for a difficult time.

If you are feeling lonely, worried or would just like to talk to someone, please do get in touch with us. We are happy to talk and can provide a one-off conversation or we can ring you on a regular basis. We can also offer email contact on a regular basis if you would prefer that method of contact. This service is available for people with any disability, which includes mental health difficulties, HIV, cancer or any other chronic illness or condition which has an effect on your day to day living.
